First Biennial Workshop
Hosted by Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, Chicago
September 27-28, 2024
Building New Interdisciplinary Networks
Presented by the ASIL International Law and Social Sciences Interest Group, the goal for this inaugural workshop is to begin building new networks that bridge social science and the study of international law. Researchers from a range of disciplines will present work-in-progress on international law topics. The network we seek to build will include faculty and visiting researchers from law and social science departments, doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, full-time researchers, scholars who are working in practice, and institute or think-tank fellows. Scholars from the disciplines of law, history, political science, economics, anthropology and sociology who study international law topics are encouraged to apply and to attend our events.
Professor Matthew Erie will be presenting two papers:
- Panel A: Psychological Dimensions of the Law. "Adversarial Comparativism"
- Panel M: Consortium for the Study & Analysis of International Law Scholarship (SAILS). "Anthropology"
