We are delighted to have been awarded a small Knowledge Exchange grant from the University of Oxford.

This 9-month project (starting September 1, 2019) will add a specific knowledge exchange component to the ERC-funded China, Law and Development research project. The aim is to better understand the implications of Chinese approaches to law and development in BRI host states by facilitating knowledge exchange between practitioners and scholars from those host states and Chinese parties. A series of activities and meetings are planned to help achieve this through building mutually-beneficial relationships and by encouraging active participation in the Silk Road Legal Exchange and Research Network (SRN) - a unique forum for legal practitioners and academics from across the world whose work focusses on the impact of China's investment in the BRI.
