Matthew Erie awarded Wilson China Fellowship

We are delighted to announce that Professor Matthew Erie has been awarded a Wilson China fellowship, 2022/23.

These China-focused non-residential fellowships support the next generation of American scholarship on China. Fifteen new fellows have been appointed and include scholars and practitioners working on diverse policy-relevant issues vital to understanding the rise of China and its implications for the United States and the world.

Professor Erie's project will focus on “Chinese Law and Development: Implications for US Rule of Law Programs”.

The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars' Asia Program, in conjunction with the Kissinger Institute on China and the United States, operates the Wilson China Fellowship in support of policy-oriented academics with specialization in political, social, economic, security, or historical issues related to China.
