Otari “Otto” Kakhidze has been selected for the UNESCO/PRC Great Wall Fellowship from Georgia as a general scholar at Tsinghua University after completion of the LL.M in IT and IP Law at the University of Göttingen. He has obtained the Masters degree in Digital Technology Management from the University of Bologna and BA in Economics and Philosophy from New York University’s Abu Dhabi Campus where he has also conducted interdisciplinary research on privacy ethics and cyberspace laws. His research will focus on the Chinese hitech infrastructure investment related contracts and dispute resolution mechanisms, future internet architecture from the comparative law perspective as well as the global contexts of the historical and modern Silk Roads with the special emphasis on Caucasus.
