An interdisciplinary study of the role of law in China’s global development

I am an anthropologist with particular interests and expertise in the anthropology of Chinese law and ethics. Currently, I am a Shanghai ‘Super Postdoc’ Fellow at the China Institute for Socio-Legal Studies (CISLS) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, conducting research into the use of AI technologies for dispute resolution and smart city schemes in China.
Qualifications: DPhil in Anthropology (Oxford); MPhil in Social Anthropology (Oxford); LLM and LLB (National Taiwan University).
