Enhui Shen graduated from the Inner Mongolia University Law School, with 2 years exchange at the Peking University Law School, with a Bachelor’s degree in Law in 2012. In 2014, she obtained a LL.M. degree from the Free University Berlin in Germany with a focus on Public International Law. She also trained at The Hague Academy for Public International Law, including International Arbitration. During her studies, she worked as a legal intern at the Headquarters of International Bridges to Justice in Geneva and the Wilmer Hale International Arbitration Group in London.
From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Shen worked as a Legal Advisor for the Sino-German Legal Cooperation at the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a German state-owned enterprise delivering international development projects and strengthening bilateral relationships with host countries. In 2017, Ms. Shen worked as a Programme Coordinator for programmes on the Rule of Law, Rights of Marginalized Groups and Gender Equality at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), managing key stakeholders in China.
From November 2017, she started her current job as a Senior Policy Advisor for the UK-China Business Environment Programme at the British Embassy in Beijing. Her areas of focus are Commercial Dispute Resolution and Investment Regulation. Ms. Shen is key-account manager for the Supreme People’s Court, Ministry of Justice, National People’s Congress Legislative Affairs Committee and equivalent departments in the UK.
