An interdisciplinary study of the role of law in China’s global development

Zhang Mujun (张牧君) is a Doctor of Law Candidate in Economic Law at Renmin University of China (RUC) Law School, where she also served as Chief Editor of Renmin Law Review (2017-2018). After receiving her LLB from the RUC in 2013, she earned her LLM in International Taxation from the University of Michigan in 2015, and her LLM in Economic Law from RUC in 2016. Her studies focus on Chinese domestic tax laws, tax policies and international taxation. She is involved in various research projects relating to public finance and tax reform in China, and she has 4 articles published on CSSCI source journals. Currently she is working on her doctoral thesis on the purposes of tax laws.
